Welcome back to my Blogging Tips Tuesday post! I’ve got a good one for you this week!
Blogging seems pretty straight forward, right? You just sit down and write (type). But there are a few things that you should know if you want Google to send traffic your way organically. I could totally write a post telling you all this stuff, but I thought this anatomy of a blog post graphic might help you visualize it a bit better.

This by no way means that Google will not send traffic to you if you do things differently. It’s just a way to help you optimize your posts so that they send you a little more…maybe! LOL
So start using this outline now and then each week choose one old post to update. Before you know it Google will be rockin’ your world with all the traffic they’ll send you…well, at least that’s the hope anyways, right?
I’ll talk more about keywords later, but be sure that you’re using the Google KeyWord Tool in the Tools section of Google AdWords to find the best keywords.
