Back to School Game Giveaway

To celebrate the kids going back to school this week (and the fact that I successfully…I think…got my blogs moved to a new host)…I decided to do a BIG giveaway as a way of saying “Thanks for sticking with me!”

I have 5 amazing, educational games to give one lucky reader! These are all very high quality games by an awesome company called SimplyFun.

I have a soft spot in my heart for SimplyFun. I was (and technically still am) a consultant for them through a very rough time in my life. They helped me to find my way and have something other than my losses to focus on…and they took me to Disney World last year for FREE on Evan’s 3rd birthday (a coincidence, but still awesome)!

These games all have an educational focus and help children learn and develop skills while having fun. They also help families connect…and with the routine of school starting, we all need some help taking 30 minutes a week to just sit down together and have fun.

So I thought I’d help one luck reader do that!

The games that are part of this giveaway:

Pig Tales  – $32

 Pig Tales

Help Pickles make his way to the castle by remembering – and building upon – a fun story! This is an amazing game of storytelling, imagination and creativity.
I love this one! It’s a great story telling game that is new each time you play it. It’s great for all ages (you might have to adjust the rules a bit for younger kids) and perfect for practicing other languages.

 Bank It – $34

Bank It

Race other players to save enough money to purchase a new bicycle! Earn money doing chores and other jobs. Earn interest on your savings account. Manage your money wisely and shop for a good bargain.

Bank It is a great way to teach kids about money. They have to do “chores” to earn money. They have to spend money for needed/wanted items and they have to save $10 to buy a bike…and win the game.

Manga Manga $13.60

Manga Manga

Brave heroes have been called together in a fierce competition of speed and lightning-fast reflexes. In this action-packed game featuring Japanese Anime art, be the first to get rid of your cards to win each round. Gain strength, speed and special abilities as you go!

This one is tons of fun, but very fast paced and not for the faint of heart. My husband and I actually got into a fight the first we played this…LOL!

Who Gets the Cheese? $16 Who Gets the Cheese

Oh, that cheese looks tantalizing, but who gets it? Will your Mouse card be enough to win the pile? Or will a Kitty show up to spoil the Mouse’s fun? Flip the card and let’s find out! Fun way to introduce kids to concepts of greater than, less than, and equal to.

This is probably the one we play the most right now. It’s a great way to teach kids about taking turns and since it’s just a game of chance, even the youngest players can win.

Picky Sticks $34

Picky Sticks

Sticks the Hedgehog has lost his quills! Be the first to re-attach all of your Quills to win. Be careful – Sticks is picky about how you put them back on. If one falls off again, you’ll find yourself in a “sticky” situation! Quills attach magnetically or by balance.

This one is a perfect coffee table game. People cannot keep their hands off it You start by placing the yellow, metal sticks on the edges of the triangle to build a support foundation. Then you have to get all the other sticks to stay on that foundation. It’s tricky…and addicting!

One lucky winner will win all five of these family favorites!

Be sure to follow all the directions and good luck! The winner will be chosen on September 8, 2013.
