We have been working hard on getting ready for school.
I’ve especially been focusing on getting creative with lunches. With both boys now taking their lunches, I’ve got to figure out the best way to entice them into actually eating it…since they’re really more grazers than anything.
Last week I came up with the idea to use a pencil box and silicone cupcake liners as a lunch box/ snack box.
This week, I’ve figured out a way to decorate that box to make it fun and individual by using Duck Tape®.
This fun project requires that you buy Duck Tape at Walmart.
While you’re there, you can pick up these cute little pencil boxes for $.47 each. You’ll definitely need scissors too and maybe a glue stick and some Modge Podge if you want to add a name tag to it.
Cut two pieces of Duck Tape® long enough to cover the top of the pencil box and stick them on.
Super simple.
They have loads of different themes and colors so you find something that everyone will like.
Then place your silicone cupcake liners and snacks inside and you’re ready to go.
If you’d like to add a name tag on top, go to Picmonkey and create a simple name tag. Cut it out and use the glue stick to glue it where you’d like it. Then paint the Modge Podge on top of the name tag just to give it a little extra sticking power (you could also use clear Duck Tape®).

What else can you decorate with Duck Tape®?
