This is my twenty-fourth children’s book activities post in our #BookaDayinMay Instagram Challenge that I’m doing with my blogging buddies at CarrieElle.com and RockaByeParents.com.
Bear Feels Scared
Bear Feels Scared by Karma Wilson is on of the many Bear books in her series. These books have been a family favorite of ours since Connor, now 6, was just a baby.
In this one, Bear gets scared when he hasn’t made it home yet and a storm starts to come in and of course his friends go out looking for him.
They are so fun to read because they have a great rhythm and rhyme to them. They also have the same characters time after time who begin to feel like friends. You are always looking forward to seeing what they’re up to.
But best of all, you don’t mind reading these over and over and over. My kids as toddlers would get stuck on the same book for months at a time (Maddi has been stuck on the same 2 books for most of the 7 months we’ve been together). It can be brutal if you don’t like the book, but these are fun and you never get tired of reading about Bear.
