With 3 kids (and all of my own various interests and activities) keeping a calendar is a MUST.

I have tried loads of different systems…and I usually only stick with them for a few months before I find that they really don’t work for me any more.

So buying a planner and sticking with it…never seems to work…although I LOVE buying planners!

Last week I shared a video about how I have my new Franklin planner organized (if you missed it, it’s a quick one and worth your time).

Today I want to share how I have organized the calendar pages in hopes that it will help you organize your life a bit.

Calendar Pages

A few months ago I stumbled across a site called Calendars Quick.

This site allows you to choose from loads of templates and print out the calendar that works best for you.

This TOTALLY works for me since what works best for me usually changes each month.

There are a few templates that you can try out for free to see if they work for you or you can buy a 1 year access pass to all the templates for just $12 (which was totally worth it for me).

I use the weekly planner along with the monthly pages that came in my planner. I use a highlighter to block out the times that I absolutely have to be some place (i.e. – school drop off/pick up & Kung Fu). Then I can quickly see at a glance what open times I have to work on any given day.

I also REALLY like this template because it has a to-do list space under the daily timed space. I use this to write down what I need to do each day that doesn’t have to be done at a specific time (i.e. – bake cupcakes, write a post about my calendar).

PS – I set my print settings to half letter so that they print the right size for my planner…or I turn them into jpgs and print as a picture. Works perfectly for my planner.
