I will admit, I hate dealing with bills and rates and insurance policies. I just want someone else to do it for me. And with 3 kids, 3 dogs and a full time blog, I don’t have time to compare car insurance rates.
But I also feel that by not watching the rates for these things and comparing companies, I’m throwing money out the window – which I could be using to send my kids to preschool so I could actually get work done!
Luckily for me, and you, there’s a new site that let’s you compare rates from up to six different companies in just minutes called AutoInsurance.com. (We’ll be able to cut our rates in HALF – and afford that new preschool!)
Car Insurance Rates
In my adult life, I have only ever had 2 car insurance companies. I’ve gone with word of mouth and just stuck with what was recommended because it’s just too much of a hassle to try and shop around – and I don’t want anyone calling me.
I admit, when I went to this site I was a little hesitant to put in my information. But AutoInsurance.com is an independently owned one-stop-shop that will give you up to six quotes, based on information you put in, at no cost to you (and with no hassle or obligation to buy).
For me, I dug around and found the paperwork for our current plan (this part probably took the longest for me…LOL) so that I was sure to be comparing my current coverage with that from the site.
I went through and adjusted the rates to as close as I could get them for both drivers and both cars. It was so easy actually that I had my husband double check it for me to make sure that I had done it correctly – which I had!
Then you get a page that gives you all of your quotes that you can actually purchase right from there. I also really liked that this feature gave me my current coverage and also options for lower and high coverage.
And let me tell you…these rates are HALF what we’re paying now…which will give us extra money for preschool in the Fall! (If I can survive the summer!)
Right now only people living in Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, Tennessee and Mississippi will have full functionality of AutoInsurance.com though.
