Rum and coke is a classic drink…but this Cuba Libre recipe puts a little twist on that.
When I lived in Brownsville, TX in my early 20s, we went over into Mexico a few times and I always got this drink…so sometimes when I’m feeling a little wistful for my “funner” days, I’ll mix up one of these.
Ingredients
- 1 shot light rum
- cola
- 2 lime wedges
Instructions
- Fill glass with ice.
- Place shot of rum in glass.
- Fill remainder of glass with cola.
- Squeeze 1 wedge of lime into drink.
- Garnish with other lime wedge.
What drink takes you back to your “younger” days?
