Some nights you just need something fast that the kids are sure to eat…Kid Friendly Nachos are the perfect recipe for those nights.
I have three kids with about 3 billion different taste buds between them. Rarely do all three tolerate the same meal.
There are some nights that I just give in and serve them something I KNOW all three will devour (usually some kind of practice night where we only have 5 minutes to eat dinner).
These nachos are perfect because there’s very little prep time and they can be adjusted to fit the various taste buds in your house.
Kid Friendly Nachos
My kids like these just plain, but you can sneak some healthy fruits and veggies in on them by adding lettuce, tomato, avocado or anything they’ll eat.
They always ask for seconds when we have this for dinner!
- 7 tortilla chips
- 1 can of black beans
- Shredded Cheese
- Lettuce (optional)
- Tomato (optional)
- Avocado (optional)
- Arrange the tortilla chips on a microwave safe plate.
- Open the can of beans. Pour into a strainer and rinse off.
- Sprinkle 4 beans per chip…approximately.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- Microwave for 10 seconds.
- Add any extras.
What’s your “go-to” dinner that you KNOW your kids will eat?
