Ok so I might show my age with this post…but hang with me!

Do you remember when Oprah came out with the whole gratitude journal challenge about a bazillion years ago? (In my research it looks like maybe just 16, but I was close.)

I was totally on board with it. Each day for about a year I wrote down 3 things that I was grateful for.

For me, it was a way to remember to look for the good in the day plus it was a sort of life journal to see where I was on that specific day.

I think it’s time to bring it back so I made this free printable gratitude journal to share with y’all.

Printable Gratitude Journal

This idea of a gratitude journal isn’t new to me, but it tends to be something I don’t quite stick with. When I have times of high stress, I do always go back to it though. For me, it helps me to focus on the good when my brain is overwhelmed with negative.

For the last few months I’ve had a quote on my fridge that I try and make myself read when ever I walk by:

[Tweet “it’s not happy people who are grateful, but grateful people who are happy @play2learnsarah”]

For me it’s work to focus on the good I have in my life because the every day struggles tend to bog me down.

This year, I’d really like to go back to having an attitude of gratitude.

I created this sheet because I wanted to keep the whole week on one page. I keep a weekly file folder for my blogging so this will fit right in to my system.

I can also print it out half sheet sized and it will fit into my Franklin Planner.

I am grateful for you and I hope that this printable helps you find gratitude in your life too.
