I have been using the Food Lovers Fat Loss system for one week now (check out my intro post) and I am really liking it.

I like that it teaches you to make small changes every day that will add up to a healthier lifestyle. It’s not a “diet” per say, but a way of looking at real food and making sure that you are eating the correct foods in the correct amounts at the correct times. Plus I’ve lost my 1.5lbs for the week so it works too!

The biggest trick to being successful with this plan is to learn how to make a fat loss plate.

FLFLS: How to Make a Fat Loss Plate

Fat Loss Plate

To be successful on this eating plan you must learn how to make a fat loss plate. The photo above shows you three combinations of foods that you can put together to create a fat loss plate.

For me, I’ve had a bit of trouble remembering what’s a fast carb and a slow carb.

Fast Carbs convert to sugar quickly:

  • potato
  • bread
  • sweets
  • alcohol

Slow Carbs convert more slowly:

  • greens
  • beans
  • berries
  • fibrous veggies

It REALLY helps to plan out your meals and snacks ahead of time so when you’re hungry you don’t just start grabbing things. Plus they want you to eat every 2-3 hours so being able to take things with you really makes this plan workable.

This fat loss plate quickly becomes just part of your thought processes about food and makes it really easy to stick to even when you’re away from the house.

You can buy the whole Food Lovers Fat Loss System program on Amazon for $120. It includes the 21 Day Metabolism makeover, guide cd’s, weight loss cookbook, eating out guide, workout dvd’s and more!

Do you think this system will work for you?
