We’ve been having tons of fun with children’s book activities and this month is no different with the Virtual Book Club for Kids featuring Jez Alborough.
He is the author of one of our favorite books, Duck in the Truck. This adorable book is told in rhyme and perfect for my preschoolers. We found tons of activities to go along with the book that I know your little ones will enjoy too.
We found a fun activity on Enchanted Learning where it gives you directions to make your own paper plate duck. Connor thought this was seriously cool…while Evan could have cared less.
Other Duck in the Truck Activities
Enchanted Learning has a whole page of duck activities.
Words Alive has a book enrichment guide with discussion questions, a five little ducks finger play song and another paper plate duck activity.
First School also has a list of duck themed preschool activities.
Preschool Express‘s list of duck themed activities is a great resource. They have activities to cover various subjects, songs, snack ideas and games.
Living World’s Apart has a Duck in the Muck preschool and kindergarten printable pack of duck activities that look like fun.
Plus here’s a video I found of someone reading the book Duck in the Truck!
