Auntie Anne's Pretzels

Auntie Anne’s

When I came across the chance to participate in Auntie Anne’s 25th Anniversary celebration, I jumped at it. I was ADDICTED to soft pretzels when I was pregnant with Connor.

I had kind of been putting off this review though because when I visited their site, the closest location was over 30 minutes away.

One of my friends mentioned that there were some closer, so I looked again.

BOY am I glad I did! There are 2 locations pretty close to me (HEB Plus in Round Rock and the Walmart at 45/35).

So I emailed my contact and asked to have some pretzels prepared to take with us to Baby Signs® story time this morning for a treat.

Make Our Own Pretzels

When we arrived at the HEB Plus location, we got the amazing opportunity to meet Michael and Sara Bottom, owners of  Austin/Round Rock/Kileen area Auntie Anne’s pretzel stores. They were so nice and asked if the boys wanted to make their own pretzels.

Connor jumped at the chance….Evan not so much! As you can see in the pictures, he got to make two party sized pretzels along with a few pretzel sticks. He was so proud of himself.

Those pretzels were gone before we left the parking lot!

We shared our pretzels, along with all the other goodies Auntie Anne’s sent us, with our friends at story time. It was a nice surprise for them and easy for the babies to snack on.

We tried the Original, Cinnamon & Sugar and the new Honey Whole Grain varieties. They were all VERY good, but the boys declared the Cinnamon & Sugar ones their favorites.

Auntie Anne’s locations across the US are doing a sample Saturday on March 9th so don’t miss your chance to try the new Honey Whole Grain pretzels.

Plus through March 31, 2013, fans can get twisting in the “Twist and Win” online sweepstakes at www.pretzelperfect.com for a chance to win $25,000, the all-new Apple® iPad® mini, Coca‑Cola® beverages for a year, or a $25 Visa® gift card.

What’s your favorite kind of Auntie Anne’s pretzel?
