Kids in the Kitchen: Green Cake Balls?

Cake Balls

My kids LOVE cake balls. So this week I thought I’d try to put a little icing color in them to see if I could turn them green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.

The boys had fun (redefined as fought the entire time) helping mix the batter.

Then we popped them into our Babycakes CP-12 Cake Pop Maker and waited 3.5 minutes for our cake balls to be done. (They still managed to ask at least 6 times “Are they done yet?”)

What Do I Call Them?

I wanted to come up with something super cute to call them…but I can’t come up with anything.

(That’s actually not true…I can’t come up with anything that doesn’t end up sounding less-than-family-friendly…if you know what I mean.)

So today I’m asking for help in coming up with a name for my green cake balls.

While you’re thinking, be sure and stop over at Look What Mom Found & Dad Too to see what everyone else has been cooking up with their kids this week.

OK…go!
