Spring Treat

Spring Treats

While I was hunting around for ideas for my Easter Treat Bag post, I found some easy ideas that I thought the kids would like and would be, more importantly, EASY! So I took a few and put them together for this treat.

We made these cute Spring Treats.

Supplies:

  • pretzel twists
  • Wilton candy melts (I seem to use these A LOT)
  • Rip Whips
  • Sprinkles (or M&Ms)
  • Laffy Taffy

How To:

  • Lay out pretzels on a plate.
  • Place one candy melt on each pretzel.
  • Place in microwave for 30 seconds. (I tried the oven on this last week and it turned the chocolate brown.)
  • Immediately after removing from the microwave, place a flower sprinkle or M&M in the middle of the chocolate and push down.
  • Arrange the Rip Whips to look like stems

This was really fun and a cute, easy project to do with the boys. I’m thinking orange and black for Halloween and red and green for Christmas! We are going to use this idea for ever because the mix of salty and sweet in this treat makes it AWESOME and addictive.
