Vinyl Wall Decalls on the Dresser

I really had a hard time choosing just one thing to go on Maddi’s walls.

But there were a few things I knew for sure that I wanted…a big tree and lots of shelves.

I also wanted it to be not so much work that if I changed my mind in the next year, it wouldn’t cause WWIII when I told my husband I wanted him to repaint it.

Vinyl Wall Decals

About 2 years ago, I started using vinyl wall decals to decorate the boys’ rooms. They are super easy to put up and you’re only out $25 if you change your mind the next month.

Maddi's Room

I’ve used a couple of different brands and I like Roommates the best. They have good colors, lots of selection, and they actually stick to the wall (very important).

A few months back I found this cute wooded animal themed set at Target on sale for $2.98. I bought it thinking I wasn’t out much if I didn’t end up using it.

Then we decided to go with this Malm dresser from IKEA and I knew exactly where that set would look cute…on the dresser.

Big Open Wall

Now we’ve gotten one whole wall done with the dresser and the Billy bookcases from IKEA.

There’s a wall of closets to the right of the wall with the window and the door and then the crib on the wall directly across from it.

But that left one big open wall…the perfect place for more vinyl wall decals!

Maddi's Room Vinyl Wall Decals Tree

I found this huge mega set scroll tree that matched the first set and had the big tree that I wanted, so I decided to go with it…and just add a little Hello Kitty into it.

This tree is actually a combination of the mega set and the smaller branch set plus a couple from the Hello Kitty set I used in the bathroom.

I LOVE IT!!!

I go in there and just stare at it. I think it’s super cute and can’t wait to actually show it to her!

I’m sure she’ll hate it on site (she’s a girl), but I’ll always have this post with the pictures!

Does it need more Hello Kitty?
