We got up bright and early this morning and headed to the airport for our LAST CHINA STOP!!!
Maddi did pretty well on the plane. She fell asleep right as it took off. She woke up about 2/3 of the way through the flight, but she just sat there looking around.
She did gain a new trick today. She thought it was funny to scrape her talons down Mommy’s face and neck. Needless to say, Mommy was not happy with Maddi today!
Our hotel here is huge and much more kid friendly. They have a little playground in a courtyard that the kids were able to run around in. Joshua was sooo cute. He hit her a couple of times and kissed her a couple of times. His mom wasn’t so happy with all that, but she’s got to be prepared for two older brothers!
We decided to venture outside of the hotel for dinner since we were all so excited to be in a new city. This restaurant let you choose your dinner…right out of the tank.
We ended up back at the hotel for dinner after this little adventure! My motto for this trip has been nothing with a face…and I def don’t want it to have looked at me within minutes of eating it!
We ended up walking for about an hour and then the restaurant was really slow serving us…add that to the fact that Maddi refused to take an afternoon nap and we had a very loud, very obnoxious baby…it was hard not to laugh at her as she threw food and screamed though!
By the end of the meal she just dumped the entire bowl of noodles on her head. That was when I threw some money at Nora, grabbed Maddi and rushed her to bed. By the time Nora made it to the room, she was already asleep!
Tomorrow should be interesting…medical exams for the babies. This isn’t going to be pretty.
PS – Have I mentioned that Maddi’s favorite word is no? She shakes her head no at least 100 times a day. I even saw her shaking her head no in her sleep last night. This child has an opinion about everything! Oy Vey!
