Welcome to Week 28 of Meal Plan Monday!
This week I decided to take a little different track with my meal plan…all of the meals will use an item I bought using the Target Cartwheel app. If you haven’t downloaded this app yet…go do it.
You just go through the app and add things that you might buy to your list (when you first start you only get 15 or so). Then you just show your phone to the checker and they’ll scan the barcode with all of your discounts.
Try it! It’s an easy way to save 5-10% off products you’d buy any way.
Don’t forget, if you need a meal planner, My friend Carrie from CarrieElle.com has a great one…you can see how I use it here.
Meal Plan #28
Monday – Tomato, Avocado and Cheese Omelettes (all items on Cartwheel)
Tuesday – Turkey Tacos (tortillas, seasoning and ground turkey on Cartwheel)
Wednesday – Roasted Red Pepper Humus Chicken (humus and chicken both on Cartwheel)
Thursday – BLT (bacon and tomatoes both on Cartwheel)
Friday – night off or pizza or meatza
Saturday – Shrimp Scampi (frozen shrimp on Cartwheel)
Sunday – Chicken and Veggies (both on Cartwheel)
Treat – Lemon Poppyseed Cake (Glutino mix on Cartwheel…you can also get a $.55 coupon from their site you can use too)
I do try and do as much gluten free cooking as I can (though it’s not 100% so if you need gluten free just be sure to double check ingredients). I usually refer to the cookbook Gluten Free on a Shoestring for making breads and cakes.
