The other day I was at Target in the school supplies and I saw these pencil boxes for $.99.
I thought…those would make great bento lunch boxes.
I used 6 square silicone cupcake liners as food holders…plus pencil boxes aren’t exactly food grade plastic so I wanted to make sure no food actually came in contact with the box.
They fit perfectly and the kids were super excited to snack out of them on our long road trip to Colorado.
I’m going to go back and get more while they have them cheap so we can have a few to put in the rotation!
BTW, have you seen this some ecard about Target? Totally true…and one with a playground too as long as I’m dreaming!
