Last Sunday afternoon, my neighbor and I were driving down the street and saw this dresser sitting in front of someone’s house with a “FREE” sign on it. We both immediately thought of Pinterest and all the cool projects we had seen that this dresser would be perfect for.
I immediately said “I gotta have Dave go get it for the baby’s room!” to which she replied “He better go fast before Bret sees it.” Luckily I live closer and jumped out and ran in to have Dave go get it.
So now I have this huge dresser sitting in my garage and a million different Pinterest pins of projects that I want to do. Maybe this or this or anything on this site.
I have been on Pinterest for about a year and have over 1600 pins collected on 30 boards. That’s a lot of time put into collecting ideas and organizing them.
What if something happened to my account?
This week I also came across a new service that will back up your pins so that you NEVER lose your pins called Pin4Ever.
Pin4Ever is super simple!
First, sign up here. Once you sign up you will be given step by step directions on how to install.
Basically you pin their logo to your farthest left board of your Pinterest boards, then download their application and click Run Pin4Ever Backup, the first pin on the left side.
I did have some trouble with this step at first, but I emailed customer support and they got back to me within an hour and I was good to go. So be sure and email them if you have any problems.
Then when you want to view your pins from the program click on Show Backup (the 2nd button from the left on the top).
Then choose a board to look at by clicking on the board.
If you click on View Original Source then it will take you to the original website where the pin was initially found.
