Paprika Recipe Manager: Technology can keep our recipes organized in one simple place. This app can be accessed from any device; your phone, tablet, laptop, and computer. It is compatible with Windows, Apple, and Android. You can make meal plans, create grocery list, and a lot of these features are interactive.

This app helps keep all of my recipe resources that are online organized. If I save a recipe on my laptop and I can still access it on my phone while I am preparing it in the kitchen. There are some other tools that are pretty handy, like the timer tool. All you have to do is click the timer on the recipe and it will let you know when your recipe is done. It is very user friendly. I use this app as much as possible because it really helps keep the entire meal planning process organized.

Pinterest: Nowadays, you can Pin just about anything on the web. If you are fond of Pinterest, you can turn it into an organizational tool for recipes and much more.

I separate my boards by meals; breakfast, lunch, dinner. I also have boards for Holiday meals including Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and even New Years. You can also use Pinterest to organize a potluck. Invite your guests to the board and ask them to Pin a dish that is not already Pinned to avoid any duplicate dishes.

Recipe Binder: I have a collection of recipe cards that have been passed down to me from my grandma and my mom. Even though I have scanned these into my computer, I want to keep the recipe cards. So I made a binder to keep them safe.

These are recipes that I still use in my kitchen today. Having them nicely organized within a binder I can grab out of my cupboard is very helpful. This DIY Recipe Binder has a ton of free printables for you to use. If you enjoy writing your grocery list and creating a meal plan with a pen and paper, there are also some cute printouts you can use to stick in your recipe binder.

If you don’t want to make one yourself, you can order a Flip Stand Recipe Keeper that allows you to easily add new recipes, sort them by meal and safely display them while you cook.
