Soft Touch Flex Holder for iPad
First is the Soft Touch Flex Holder for iPad. This is a nifty little thing that holds your iPad. It clamps onto a desk, table, bed, whatever…swivels to go any direction you need it to…and easily holds your iPad securely.
It was really easy to a) put together b) clamp onto the side of his bed and c) insert and remove the iPad safely.
I even managed to crank it open far enough to securely clamp it on the edge of the kitchen counter. That would be a great way to look up recipes on the spot in the kitchen and still leave counter space to work! Genius!

FarFaria is a subscription based children’s book app for the iPad. It has over 300 ebooks and songs plus they release five new books each week. There is NO advertising and every book has a Read-to-Me option. The stories range from fairy tales to fun tales and every thing in between. Connor is really liking a story about Rosa Parks right now.
I have spent a lot of time looking for quality ebooks for the iPad and there really aren’t many out there. I was super excited to find an app that has them all in one place and is safe for children to navigate around.
The boys love the stories and enjoy being able to choose different stories each night. I’ve found that many of the stories are actually good for starting discussions about life. (We had a chat about bullies, segregation and doing the right thing all from that one Rosa Parks book the other night.)
