My whole life changed when I decided to start juicing. I know it sounds crazy – and it is – but juicing can really make you so much healthier in such a short amount of time.

I’ve just been experimenting with different kinds of fruits and veggies to see if I like any more (or less). I’ve discovered that, usually, it tastes the same if I just change one thing.

I have really struggled in the last few years with low energy (now I know why).

I call this juice Super Energy Juice because if I have one in the morning, I can make it through the afternoon – without caffeine – and into the evening without crashing as soon as the kids go to bed.

Super Energy Juice

I really think that the secret to the energy boost this juice gives is the sweet potato. I now add one to almost every juice I make.

BUT – you will need a little more powerful juicer to get these to juice well. I use the Omega Masticating Juicer which was a bit more expensive, but totally worth it because I can juice ANYTHING.

This will give you tons of energy. Don’t drink it after 3pm or you won’t be able to sleep!
Ingredients
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 1 yellow squash
  • 3 large carrots
  • 1 large apple
Instructions
  1. Wash veggies.
  2. Cut into strips thin enough to fit into juicer.
  3. Juice & Drink

Sometimes I give a little to my husband, but usually I drink it all.

This will make about 16 ounces of juice. You may want to start with half and serve it over ice.

Also check out my Green Juice Recipe for an extra boost of green nutrients.

Have you ever juiced?
