In our house holidays are about being together and having fun. My kids LOVE holidays…mostly because they see it as a chance to get more Legos…LOL.
Recently I was introduced to a new product called The Christmas Web. This is a kit that comes with three wands and book explaining how Santa’s elves use the wands to spin a “web of Christmas cheer” thus creating a new family tradition.
It helps to watch the video to really get the full idea.
We decided that it might be fun to leave the wands out for the Easter Bunny to give them a spin.
He tied a little bow to each basket with the end of the string from 2 of the 3 wands. Then he hid the baskets and ran the string through the house…ending up with one wand for each boy on the stairs. When they came down, they had to follow their string (with help winding it back up as they went) to find their basket.
It was fun and definitely something different than just having them run around with no idea where to look. It also helped them with the next part of the morning…finding eggs…because they could see them as they followed the string but could not pick them up. (Of course we still had one egg that we didn’t find until 4pm because the Easter Bunny put it too high and then forgot where he put it!).
If you go to The Christmas Web and enter the code SALE you will receive 25% off your purchase…making the kit just $29.99.
And even though it’s technically a “Christmas” product…it could have lots of fun uses throughout the year.
You can find The Christmas Web on Facebook and Twitter.
