A couple of years ago my husband asked me, “How do you get all the pancakes the same size?”
I, of course, replied “Ancient Chinese secret!” (anyone remember that commercial? Am I showing my age?)
Tonight as I was cooking Brinner (don’t judge people), I thought, “I bet other people might not know how to get perfect sized pancakes every time! And since I am a professional blogger now (in my mind), it’s my civic duty to share this knowledge with the world!”
So, do you want to know?
That’s right…my secret is the ice cream scoop!
You use an ice cream scoop to ladle out the batter for each pancake and they all come out the same size…perfect sand dollars.
Now that you know…go make Brinner (breakfast for dinner) for your kids too!
