I love Austin because we have such cool, family friendly places. One of those fun places is something I’ve never heard of…a toy library.
In July of 2013, Liza Wilson opened up a super cool little space called Toybrary Austin that is a fun, inviting play space.
The idea of a toy library was new to me, but what a great idea…to rent toys and then return them and get new ones! You spend about what you would for ONE new toy, but you can get lots of different, high quality, educational toys, for the same price.
Toybrary Austin – Toy Library
Maddi and I got to celebrate her birthday with a fun field trip. We met some friends at Toybrary Austin and got to explore the space, learn about all the cool stuff happening there and play, play, play!
The original idea behind Toybrary Austin is to be a toy lending library. You pay a monthly membership fee which allows you to come to play and borrow up to 3 toys at each visit. You may come back and return your toys as often as you like…saving you TONS of money and giving you a fun, kid-friendly place to play.
Liza has expanded her services to include weekly classes, parenting workshops and play dates with a full calendar of events and even offers a nice space that can be rented for birthday parties or other events.
As a special bonus, Liza offered all of my readers a free one month membership when you sign up for a membership plan! Just print out the coupon below and start enjoying the benefits.
PLUS she’s giving away a free birthday party package to one lucky reader!
