Have you ever heard of Udemy? It’s an online training site where you can access thousands of trainings on pretty much anything you want. Some of the courses are free, some are less than $20 each and some up to $1000 (not many though).

I have a small addiction to learning. I start to wonder about how to do something and then I jump in with both feet and want to know how it works and how I can do it myself. Then once I figure it out, I usually move on to the next thing (and sometimes even before I completely figure it out…it’s a problem).

udemy

Udemy offers courses in business, health, languages, crafts, hobbies, music, sports, math…pretty much anything you might want to learn.

The courses are generally video courses that are broken down into 5-10 minute chunks that you can easily do quickly through out the day.

Udemy Courses I’m Taking

1. I first started taking courses with Udemy about a year ago when I wanted to learn my way around Photoshop. I found a great course called Photoshop CS6 Crash Course by Jeremy Shuback. He does a great job of walking you through the different parts of the program…and cracks a few jokes along the way.

2. I’m currently working my way through one called Master Your Time. Many people say to me, “I don’t know how you do all you do!” Honestly I don’t either! LOL Since Maddi’s surgery I’ve kind of lost my focus and I wanted to take this one to help me regain it.

3. With my loss of focus, I’ve also lost my way with my diet and exercise routine (my BOLD goal is to lose 20 lbs by the end of May…and that’s coming up fast). So I’ve also signed up for a course called Transform Your Health in This 30 Day Body Renovation Detox. I need to get back on my gluten free diet. I know it’s clouding my thinking and affecting my focus, health and sleep. I think this step by step program will be just the thing to get me back on track.

4. There’s another one I bought a while back (probably the last sale) that I haven’t worked through yet called How to Make Money on Fiverr. Fiverr is a cool site where you can get pretty much anything done for you for $5. People are building whole businesses around providing services for just $5 a pop…and I bet I could add that to my online business model.

Udemy 75% off sale

As you can see, I’m a little addicted to Udemy, but when each course is 75% off…it’s really ok! I’m able to feed my need to learn for just a few dollars.

I can also use the Udemy app on my phone and listen while I’m out and about so I don’t have to be sitting in front of my computer to still be learning.

Click on some of the links I mentioned above and check out the courses for yourself!
