Meal planning is one of those tasks that definitely ebbs and flows for me. I’ll go a month and be right on top of it and know what we’re having for dinner each night. PLUS actually have gone to the store and have everything to cook it (the real miracle).

Then something will happen to throw me off and I’ll go another month with absolutely no clue and throwing fish sticks on the kids’ plates 3 nights in one week.

Luckily my friend Carrie over at CarrieElle.com is a busy bloggy mom just like me and has solved all my meal planning problems…and probably yours too with her awesome weekly meal planner.

Weekly Meal Planner

Carrie created this awesome meal planning book that has 12 monthly pages plus 52 weekly pages (that are all serrated so you can easily remove them and hang them on the fridge).

At the beginning of each month I sit down and plan out the meals for the month…ok, I’ll admit that’s only when I’m at the top of my game, but that’s what I strive for.

Then I transfer the plans for the coming week to the weekly sheet and begin to assemble the grocery sheet on that same page. I love that the grocery list is detachable so I can take that with me to the store and hang the weekly meal plan on the fridge.

I’ve had my planner for two weeks now and I have planned out our weekly meals for TWO WEEKS! This past week I was even done on Saturday!

Carrie has a great little tool to help you out here in loads of pretty colors. Check out her Etsy shop here.

Also be sure to check out all of these awesome Slow Cooker recipe ideas if you need something to fill your planner!

How would a meal planner help you?
