Fessing Up
Ok…so I admit…I didn’t completely follow the Food Lovers Fat Loss plan this past week.
I have been trying to learn how to redesign my site…myself. And it’s really, really, really hard and therefore seriously time consuming. So I’ve been so wrapped up in that and I haven’t been eating every 2-3 hours like you’re supposed to to keep your body in fat burning mode.
It’s also beyond me to do a review of Auntie Anne’s pretzels and not eat as many as I can get my hands on.
This past week I was supposed to work on putting more exercise into my days…I did run for 10 min on the treadmill on Wednesday and then we walked the Kristi K 5K on Sunday, but I have been sitting at the computer A LOT.
I’m also supposed to be drowning myself daily by drinking massive amounts of water, but I wouldn’t be able to get anything done if I drank as much water as they want you to drink.
There is also a daily audio to listen to to help keep you on track…but again, I’ve totally dropped the ball on that.
That’s a heck of a lot of excuses!
One more… Evan has been getting up earlier and earlier every day…today it was 6:15am (and I’ve been working until midnight each night) so I’m not getting the recommended amount of sleep either.
Weighing In
So to sum it all up…I’ve blown this week and let life get in the way of my personal goal of losing weight and getting in shape. I did lose .5 lb and dropped 1% in body fat, but it’s not as much as I wanted and I will not meet my goal of 12 lbs in 8 weeks if I don’t get back on the bandwagon.
I think I will set a timer to help remind me to eat every 3 hours and be sure to drink some water at those times too.
Strange how not eating enough can hurt your weight-loss goals just as much as eating too much.
