Ok…so once again I have a not-so-healthy meal for my Kids in the Kitchen post, but once again…it’s a good one! LOL
On my Meal Plan Monday post last week I found some sweet potato nachos. But since I was out of town, Dave didn’t make them. So yesterday I remembered seeing those and thought I’d throw something together with what I had…they were really good!
French Fry Nachos
To start I emptied a bag of frozen waffle fries on a cookie sheet and baked them for 15 min at 400 degrees.
Then I took them out and sprinkled a can of kidney beans and some shredded cheese on them and put them back in for 10 more minutes.
I gave just these plain ones to the kids, but I dressed mine up with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and some avocado. Super Yummy!
I will definitely be making these again! And if these sound good, you should check out my Tater Tot Casserole!

Come join me and my co-hosts, Melinda of LookWhatMomFound…andDadtoo!, Sarah of Play 2 Learn with Sarah, Paula at Frosted Fingers and Sara at Sensibly Sara, each week linking up a post, new or old, that feature the theme Kids in the Kitchen. It doesn’t matter what you are doing as long as you are doing it together, enjoying it and learning something along the way.
